Hello everyone.

 

My name is Emily Praslin, I'm a graduate from California State University of Northridge with a Bachelors of Art. My major focus is visual development, with an emphasis in Animation and Illustration. I also take some classes at Concept Design Academy in Pasadena. Whether it's Animation, Visual Development,  Illustration, or even building a stronger portfolio. I'm also a freelance Illustrator in my free time. I'm a fan girl of all things disney, marvel, anime, and art. I enjoy both traditional and digital drawing. In my spare time I'm either spending time with my family, going to the movies, or going to the zoo to sketch.

I first started drawing when I was 7 years old and since then my family has encouraged my gift.  My love for movies began with my Grandma, she showed me movies from the 40's to present. Overtime I wanted to do something that combined both my love of art and film. That's when I chose to study Animation. At the start of high school I took many art classes, including Art in Motion.
